No Internet Today

Jesus Christ! Yet another day on which I suddenly don’t have my Internet connection. The key to re-connecting does not match the password… one has eight characters and the other nine… so no reconnecting. So what the hell? Too broke to just go to a movie and get the hell out of here for the afternoon. Well, I can read, except my eyes are too tired. So it’s the old fall-back… music. What shall I play on this computer which will not provide me with my Internet connection? Maybe muzak for depressives…no, not Joy Division and definitely not Morrissey. Trance or ambient techno? Maybe yes and maybe no? Minimalism but with emotional content? Music that veers in and out of being highly melodramatic and wallpaper. Yes. Henrik Gorecki’s Third Symphony…one of my favourites for sure.
